Regulations published last week by the UK's HMRC maintain the taxation price advantage
of road fuel gas (LPG) as against petrol. Despite the important
price difference, however, only a tiny proportion of UK cars run
on LPG. Figures below are not an exact equivalence between prices per kilo and per litre, but
the comparison is close enough. Here are the current duties imposed on road

This clearly shows how the UK government are favoring green inititives and there is word on a new set of business incentives and grants for those who look to invest in alternative energy businesses or alternative energy scientific development. It seems that it is not just the investment markets that are looking for alternatives, there is much to be said for investing right now and getting in early in the company or with the product that could be providing energy in the future. You only have to go back 120 years to see the rise in the markets driven by the oil revolution, and we know what has happened to those who made the right investments in oil in those early days. Whatever the new energy source is, it is out there now waiting to be either discovered or developed and the oil gushing opportunity is here again.
Now all you have to do is decide where to place your chip on the table and wait to see what happens when the ball stops rolling.
